(The trays etc. are removed, and those pine branches should be placed standing beside the left and right sides of the sacred doors. However, for small shrines, the shrine affairs deputy prepares them. Most appropriately, they are offered between the guardian dog statues beside the sacred doors)
Next, the gon-hafuri takes his seat at the ritual prayer house and recites the ritual prayers.
Next, the gon-hafuri finishes removing the legs and withdraws (this ceremony follows the precedent of subsidiary shrines, therefore it is abbreviated).
Next, the evening daily offering is presented. The duty shrine official serves in this role (as in the usual ceremony).

○ Last Day Earth Release Festival Procedures (In short months, the 29th day) (In ancient times, there was sacred divination to determine the festival day)
First, today's morning and evening daily offering festivals are prepared and presented beforehand (however, the duty shrine official should perform this).
When the appointed time (hour of the monkey) arrives, each shrine official (wearing court dress) arrives at the earth house (first the attendants' quarters, then the earth house).
Next, the divine offerings are dispatched.
Next, each shrine official takes their seat before the deity.
Next, the hafuri opens the sacred doors.
Next, the shrine chief and shrine officials below each wait at the great platform of the inner sanctuary or to the left and right of the steps.
Next, the divine offerings are transferred forward from the hafuri group (however, the sacred chopsticks, sacred cups, etc. are next transferred forward from the negi group).
