【右丁】   愿彰院様御近習番の交代が御入用なく、小番帰役の筆頭に仰せ付けられ、数年にわたり出精して相勤めたにつき、御褒美として絹二疋を下し置かれた事。 一、寛延元(辰)年三月、恭定様が江戸へご登城の節、お供仕り罷り登った事。 一、同年四月、右の御道中を精を出して相勤めた段を仰せ出された事。 一、同年七月、勤番中 【左丁】   恭定様の常詰御懐守を仰せ付けられた事。 一、同三(午)年十二月、恭定様の御家督につき御祝儀として銀子二枚を下し置かれた事。 一、宝暦二(申)年九月、精を出して相勤めたにつき、江戸扶持二人分を下し置かれた事。 一、同五(亥)年十二月、御懐守が御入用なくなり無役を仰せ付けられたが、出精して相勤めたにつき、絹二疋を下し置かれ、小普請料を御免成され、席はこれまでの通りにて会津勝手に被

[Right folio]   There being no need for rotation in the position of Lady Genshō'in's personal attendant guard (okinjūban), he was appointed as the head of the kobangaeri-yaku (returning small-guard duty), and having served diligently for a number of years, he was rewarded with two bolts of silk (ken) as a commendation. One entry: In the third month of Kan'en 1 (1748, year of the Dragon), when Lord Kyōtei traveled up to Edo, he served in his retinue and accompanied him on the journey. One entry: In the fourth month of the same year, it was proclaimed that he had served diligently throughout the aforementioned journey. One entry: In the seventh month of the same year, while on duty rotation (kinban), [Left folio]   he was appointed as Lord Kyōtei's permanent personal amulet keeper (jōdzume okaimamore). One entry: In the twelfth month of the same third year (Kan'en 3, 1750, year of the Horse), in celebration of Lord Kyōtei's succession to the headship of the domain (gosōkatoku), he was granted two silver coins (ginsu nienmai). One entry: In the ninth month of Hōreki 2 (1752, year of the Monkey), in recognition of his diligent service, he was granted an additional Edo stipend of two persons' rations (futaribun).
