諸国の霊仏や霊神などが縁結びのため、大江戸に出てきて開帳しようとするものの多くは、当院（回向院）において参拝させる。諸方面からアクセスの良い場所であるため、特に参詣者が多い。

Many sacred Buddhist statues and Shinto deities from various provinces come to Edo to hold special exhibitions (kaichō) for the purpose of forming spiritual connections with worshippers, and most of them allow people to worship at this temple (Ekōin). Because it is conveniently located and accessible from all directions, it attracts particularly large numbers of pilgrims.
