現代語訳

祐俊等が上下の社に参向して奉行し、社司がそれぞれ膳を進めた。この事について大外記清原定俊が詫宣を受けることがあった。寛治四年三月二十六日、参議保実卿を賀茂の奉幣使とした。今日より初めて調進する神膳を宝前に備え進すと社司が詫宣がある由を申した。同年七月十三日、賀茂御祖・別雷二社にそれぞれ不輸田六百余町を奉り、供御田とするという。この件の沙汰の間、伊家弁に申文を作ることについて、笑うことや話すことをやめず、成経は生きながらにして甲(優位)に立った。その時申文を取り返して他の弁に作らせた。閑三ヶ日に当たって伊家の弁は血を吐いて死去した。そもそも伊家の弁の舅は賀茂で七日通夜をしていたところ、夢の告げがあった。賀茂の行幸と思しくて「いかに我はこの奉行をさせなかったのであろうか」と思ったところ、行幸ではなかった。棚尾社の御前に気高き人が参らせ給い、傍輩も候していた。「伊家の弁を勘当いたし候わん」と申させ給うたが、御返事は 「何とも聞き承らない」として「番の参れ」と召されたので、褐衣冠に身を包んだ人で平胡籙を負った者が参られた。「伊家の弁を勘当仕らん」と仰せがあったので、南に向けて蕪矢を放たせ給うたところ、我が婿である伊家の弁の胸に当たって苦痛の声が聞こえ、「勘当仕り候」と申させ給うて出させ給う後で「誰人の参らせ給うたるぞ」と相尋ねられ給うと、「日吉の参らせ給うたり」と申して夢が覚めて出て家に帰られた。すると婿の伊家の弁の許より「今は限りなり」として度々申されたけれども、「かかる夢を見たれば叶うまじ」と申された。女房が「我と弔いに行かばこそ、度々呼ばるるに行き向かうべき」由を勧めたので、行って聞けば、夢の中に見た矢の当たりによって呻いた声にそっくりで、少しも違わず浅ましく思えて帰ったとかや。そのようなことを焼かれたであろうか。御庄々を別けられたのを桂の弁が

Sukétoshi and others went to the upper and lower shrines to conduct the ceremonies, and the shrine officials each presented meals. Regarding this matter, Dai-geki Kiyohara no Sadatoshi received a takusen (divine oracle). On the twenty-sixth day of the third month of the fourth year of Kanji (1090), Sangi Yasuzané-kyō was made the imperial messenger for offerings to Kamo. From today, the shrine officials reported that there was a takusen to prepare and present the newly prepared divine meals before the treasure hall. On the thirteenth day of the seventh month of the same year, it was said that each of the two shrines of Kamo Mioya and Wakéikazuchi were granted over 600 chō of tax-exempt rice fields to serve as imperial provision fields. During the deliberation of this matter, regarding the drafting of a petition to Ben-no-Ike, without ceasing to laugh or speak, Narutsune gained the upper hand while still alive. When commanded "Punish Ben-no-Ike," he faced south and shot a turnip-headed arrow, which struck the chest of Ben-no-Ike, who was the speaker's son-in-law.
