きたらはくるしからす木と人とを分てとをる
へからさる也人と人との間はいかに袖をする
程なりとも不苦也むかへの木の本につめよりて
猶庭中をわけかへりさまに便宜のまりを
けかへること返々みくるしき事也但不期きた
らん鞠はちからなくけるへし人の鞠を奪（ウハヒ）
とる事不可然なり但道ふさからさらむ時は
いく度ももとの道をひらくへき也所詮か様の
事は大方の法をたにも心しぬれは時にした
かひてみよき様にふる舞へしかならす
此道に不限事也
一 身体事
凡人のうけたるところ性（セイ）に利鈍（リドン）賢愚（ケング）あり
体に好悪大小あり父よけれとも子かならす
うけす師妙なれとも弟子又まなふことかたし
人の心おなしからさる事其面のことし諸芸

来たならば苦しくない。木と人とを分けて通る
べきではない。人と人との間はいかに袖を擦る
ほどであっても苦しくない。向かいの木の下に詰め寄って
なお庭中を分けて、帰りがけに都合の良い鞠を
蹴り返すことは、重ね重ね見苦しいことである。ただし不意に来た
鞠は力なく蹴るべきである。人の鞠を奪い
取ることは然るべきでない。ただし道が塞がるようであれば
幾度でも元の道を開くべきである。要するにこのような
ことは大方の法をただ心得ておけば、時に応じて
良い様に振る舞うべきである。必ずしも
この道に限らないことである。

およそ人の受けた所の性質には利鈍・賢愚があり、
体には好悪・大小がある。父が優れていても子が必ず
受け継がず、師が妙であっても弟子がまた学ぶことは難しい。
