一 扇事
鞠場にいつる時より左の手に持也懸に
出ても初心の人なと心にまかせて扇を
つかふ事有へからすつかはて難治の極暑
なとには左の手に持なから二三間はかりひ
ろけて引そへてつかふへし庭にをきて
立時も左の方の畳円座の下にをく也
但猶座下の方可然也両様共以くるし

一 懸の枝に留まった鞠を落とすことについて
竿で落とす際に、鞠を突き落としてはいけない。
枝の隙間に竿の先を入れて掻き落とす
のである。どんなにしなる枝であっても木を揺らす
ことはない。手の届く所の枝ならばただ
手で掻き落とすのである。それも先に地面に
落としてから改めて取ってあげるべきである。縁の上に
上がった鞠も同じことである。
一 扇について
鞠場に入る時から左手に持つのである。懸に
出ても初心者などが思いのままに扇を
使ってはいけない。使わずにいられない極度の暑さ
などの時には、左手に持ったまま二、三間ほど
広げて引き添えて使うべきである。庭に置いて
立つ時も左の方の畳や円座の下に置くのである。
ただしなお座の下の方がよい。どちらも苦しい

Article 1: Regarding dropping balls that have gotten stuck in the branches of the suspension posts
When dropping them with a pole, one must not strike the ball down.

If the branches are within reach of one's hands, simply
scrape it down by hand. Even then, one should first drop it to the ground
and then pick it up properly. The same applies to balls that have
landed on the veranda.
Article 1: Regarding fans
One should hold it in the left hand from the time of entering the playing field. Even when going out to the suspension posts,
beginners and others must not use fans
as they please. Only in unbearably extreme heat
when one cannot do without it, should one open it about two or three ken while still holding it in the left hand and use it while keeping it close. When placing it down and
standing in the garden, one should place it under the tatami or circular cushion on the left side.
However, it is better to place it under the seating area. Both options are difficult
