Regarding the reports of falling sand that were submitted twice - I have reviewed them, but since all areas experienced similar conditions, there is no need to record them in detail, and as there were no other major incidents, I will omit them.
1. The petition submitted to the administrative office of Harada Seizaemon regarding this incident is as follows:

Kozuke Province, Agatsuma District
Omae Village
Kambara Village
Nakai Village
Haneo Village
From the 6th day of this 7th month at the eighth hour (around 2 PM), Mount Asama in Shinano Province erupted, and from around midday on the 8th, the rumbling became severe to the point where both men and women fell unconscious. From the direction of Mount Asama, something like black clouds about 2-3 jo (approximately 6-9 meters) high, mixed with burning sand, muddy water, stones, and fire, came rushing all at once, instantly sweeping away houses, bamboo, and trees. In Kambara Village, there was a temple called Jorinji, which was a branch temple of Toeisan (Kan'eiji). Not only the main hall but also the head priest and all the temple staff appear to have been swept away, as they cannot be seen. Therefore, we two are making this petition to the honorable mountain (Kan'eiji) in Kozuke Province. The above.
Arrived in Edo on the 18th day of the 7th month, Tenmei 3, Year of the Rabbit
