一当村石切之儀悉詮儀仕今年書上之外壱人も
　無御座候然上は石切共旅先ニ而随分実躰正路ニ
　相廻り候様申付承知いたし候若御帳面除キ
　隠置候段御聴及候ハヽ其元御注進可成候条

差し上げ申し上げる一札の件

一、当村の石切の件について、詳しく調査いたしました結果、今年書き上げました以外に一人もおりません。このうえは、石切たちが旅先において、十分に実直正当な商売を行うよう申し付け、承知いたしました。もし帳面から除いて隠し置いている者がいることをお聞き及びになりましたら、そちら様にご報告いたします。このことを承知いたしました上は、私どもがどのようなお咎めを仰せ付けられましても、少しも恨みはございません。後日のため一札、よって件の如し。

Item: Regarding the matter of stone cutters in our village, we have thoroughly investigated and found that there are no persons other than those reported in this year's registration. Having established this, we have instructed the stone cutters to conduct themselves with complete honesty and propriety in their business dealings while traveling, and they have acknowledged this. Should you hear that we have concealed anyone by removing them from the registry, we will report this matter to you. Having acknowledged this, no matter what punishment may be imposed upon us, we harbor no resentment whatsoever. This pledge is written for future reference, therefore as stated above.
