出船順道悪敷候故去る七日志賀島へ漕込申候
一 右之通二艘共に志賀島漕込申候付弥一同に長崎へ
送遣可然と申談志賀島へ鎌田八郎兵衛船中念を入
申候様付参候面々え申聞同八日に志賀島漕出申候二艘
一度に送遣候付警固別段に御付被成に及間敷と申談候
則付参候面々名付船組等別紙書付指上申候

飛脚を以申越は去十日之晩朝鮮船二艘共に船
中無実儀長崎着船即刻御奉行所へ申上候処同十二日
両御奉行所より検使御出し於大波戸二艘共引渡
相済候由申越候則長崎より之書状指上申候
一 平兵衛八郎兵衛未罷帰候相替儀無御座候間致着
之儀重て態は申上間敷候
一 右朝鮮船漂流之儀長崎両御奉行所家老衆迄
早速以飛札申遣候処遠江守殿下総守殿より御状にて
御聞届被成候通被仰下并与右衛門より返答も有之候

こちらに注進いたしました。去る七日に志賀島へ漕ぎ込みました。
一 旧暦十二月二十八日に玄海沖で漂流した朝鮮の漁船が唐泊に漕ぎ込みましたが、天候が悪く長崎への出船ができず延期となりました。唐泊は繋留場所として適さないため今津に漕ぎ込みましたが、入り込んだ場所のため長崎への出船の順路が悪く、去る七日に志賀島へ漕ぎ込みました。
一 右の通り二艘ともに志賀島に漕ぎ込みましたので、いよいよ一同に長崎へ送り遣わすのが良いと相談し、志賀島へ鎌田八郎兵衛が船中の世話をするよう付き添いで参りました。面々に申し聞かせ、同八日に志賀島から漕ぎ出しました。二艘を一度に送り遣わしますので、警固を特別に付ける必要はないと相談しました。付き添いで参りました面々の名前や船の編成等は別紙の書付で提出いたします。

一 長崎の疋田与右衛門、古田平兵衛、吉田八郎兵衛の方から飛脚で申し越したところによると、去る十日の晩に朝鮮船二艘ともに船中に異常なく長崎に着船し、即刻奉行所へ申し上げたところ、同十二日に両奉行所から検使が出向き、大波戸において二艘とも引き渡しが完了したとのことです。長崎からの書状を提出いたします。
一 平兵衛、八郎兵衛はまだ帰っておりませんが、変わったことはございませんので、到着の件について重ねて特に申し上げることはありません。
一 右の朝鮮船漂流の件について、長崎両奉行所の家老衆まで早速飛札で申し遣わしたところ、遠江守殿、下総守殿からお状にてお聞き届けになられた旨仰せ下され、また与右衛門からも返答がございました。

We reported this matter here. On the 7th, [the ships] rowed into Shikanoshima.
1. Korean fishing vessels that had drifted in the Genkai Sea on the 28th of the 12th month of the previous year rowed into Karadomari, but due to bad weather they could not depart for Nagasaki and were delayed. Since Karadomari was not suitable as a mooring place, they rowed into Imatsu, but because of the location where they entered, the route to Nagasaki was poor, so on the 7th they rowed into Shikanoshima.
1. As mentioned above, both vessels rowed into Shikanoshima, so we discussed that it would be best to send them all together to Nagasaki. Kamata Hachirōbei was sent to Shikanoshima to take care of the ships. After informing everyone, on the 8th they departed from Shikanoshima. Since we are sending both vessels at once, we discussed that there is no need to provide special guards. The names of those who accompanied them and the ship formations are submitted in a separate document.

According to messages sent by courier from Hikita Yoemon, Furuta Heibei, and Yoshida Hachirōbei in Nagasaki, on the evening of the 10th both Korean ships arrived in Nagasaki without incident aboard, and when this was immediately reported to the magistrate's office, on the 12th inspectors were sent from both magistrate's offices, and the handover of both vessels was completed at Ōhato. The letter from Nagasaki is submitted herewith.
1. Heibei and Hachirōbei have not yet returned, but since there are no unusual matters, I will not make any special additional reports about their arrival.
1. Regarding this matter of the Korean ship drift, we promptly sent express messages to the senior retainers of both Nagasaki magistrate's offices, and we received letters from Lord Tōtōmi-no-kami and Lord Shimōsa-no-kami stating that they had been informed, and there was also a reply from Yoemon.
