【右丁上段】 小さな黒い虫で甲羅があり、長く柔らかい 触角がある。脚を畳んでいるので無いよう に見える　天保辰年六月二十七日土用 入りの日に写生する 【右丁中段】 大きさはこの通り 菓子に発生する虫を虫眼鏡で見た様子 【右丁下段】 　　　アミガサ虫 ウツギまたはウドなどの若い枝に付く。白い 綿状の糸を吐いて多数集まることが蚕の繭の ようである 【左丁上段】 ヨコバイ　二種 　夜は灯火を慕って提灯に 　飛んでくるものである 【左丁下段】 ベッコウ横笛 　臭梧桐に付く。五六尺ずつ飛ぶ。羽衣蝉のように透き通って 　美しい文様があり美しい。横から人が来るのを見ると素早く去らずに木陰にその 　身を隠す。採取しようとすると素早く羽ばたいて飛ぶことは四五尺に過ぎない 　　　　　　　　　同上 　　　　　　　　　　　一種で形が大きなもの 　　　　　　　　　　　ウドの若い茎に 　　　　　　　　　　　付いて三〜五列をなす 　　　　　　　　　　　人を見ると 　　　　　　　　　　　茎の陰に隠れる 　　　　　　　　　　　ものである
