【右丁上段】ヨコブヱ　常ニ羽ヲ合シテ枝ニ　トマル物ニ驚ケバ飛フ【右丁中段】ヲコゼ　五六月ウツギノ木ノ嫩芽ニ着ヨコ　ブヱノ類也採ント欲スレハハネトフコト　三尺　文政丙戌三月和蘭ノ官医　／西僕尓篤（シーボルト）虫白蝋ヲ造□＃1ル虫ヲ画ケル　書ヲ出シテ予ニ示ス形此物ニ同シ此図　ヲ尓#2スニ云是ト同形ナリ【右丁下段】同上　粟穂升麻ノ茎ニツク　　　モシ手ニツマム時ハ尾上　　　白毛脱落ス【左丁上段】松毛虫王子滝ノ川ニテ捕雄ハヨコ腹カバイロノ処アリ声ヲナシ啼ト云ハ誤ナリナク者ハ松虫ト云モノナリ松蝉トモ云䗿母ナリ【左丁中段】毛虫ノスマユニ黒毛交ヘタルモノアリ【左丁下段】松ノ蠹虫ナリ

【右丁上段】ヨコバイ　常に羽を合わせて枝に　止まるもので、驚けば飛ぶ【右丁中段】オコゼ虫　五六月、ウツギの木の若芽に付く。ヨコバイの　類である。採取しようとすると羽ばたいて飛ぶこと　三尺　文政九年丙戌三月、オランダの官医　シーボルトが、虫白蝋を作る虫を描いた　書を出して私に示した。形はこの虫と同じで、この図　を見せると、これと同じ形だと言った【右丁下段】同上　粟穂升麻の茎に付く　　　もし手でつまむ時は尾の　　　白い毛が脱落する【左丁上段】松毛虫　王子滝野川で捕獲　雄は横腹に茶色の部分がある　声を出して鳴くというのは誤りである　鳴くものは松虫というものである　松蝉とも言う　蛾の雌である【左丁中段】毛虫の作る繭に黒い毛が混じったものがある【左丁下段】松の蠹虫である
