柿ノ虫猿面ニ似タリムベニ生スル虫状
ニ似タリ尺　
蠖ノ類ナ
リ又此
虫ムベト云蔓草ニ
着コトモアリ

サカキの虫五月六日一体形扁シ頭ノ
黒キ　　　　処サヽベニノ色ノ如ク光
ル

【右丁左端】
萩ノ毛虫九月ニア
リ腂虫ノ如シ微毛
アリ

【左丁】
順和名鈔謂是蝙𧍗　和名ヰ
洲崎ノ三枚洲ト云処ノ沙場水浅キ処ニアリ二三尺ホ
リテ得之形蚯蚓ノ如ク横紋ナシ腹膨張水ヲ含ム
一頭ニ刺アリテ人手ヲ螫ス八九月漁人掘取
腸沙ヲ去リ煮食味美ナリ鰈魚好食フ
故釣者此ヲ用テ餌トスルモノ是ナリ

柿の虫　猿の顔に似ている　ムベ（郁子）に生じる虫の形状に
似ている　尺
蠖の類で
ある　またこの
虫はムベという蔓草に
付くこともある

【右丁下段】
サカキの虫　五月六日　全体の形は平たく、頭の
黒い　　　　部分は山吹色のように光って
いる

【右丁左端】
萩の毛虫　九月にいる
腹部は腫虫のようで、細かい毛が
ある

【左丁】
『順和名抄』に「これは蝙蝠魚である」とある　和名はイ
洲崎の三枚洲という場所の砂浜の水の浅い所にいる　二、三尺ほど
掘って取る　形は蚯蚓のようで横縞はない　腹部が膨張して水を含む
頭に一本の刺があって人の手を刺す　八、九月に漁師が掘り取り
腸の砂を除いて煮て食べる　味は美味である　鰈魚がよく食べる
ため釣り人がこれを餌として用いるのである
