不同に喰ひそろわぬもの也
乍＿レ去よとみ揃ひの頃より起がけ迄は手入申事は甚悪し
桑両度もかけたる已後取ひろけべし煩（わつらい）あかりにて力（ちから）付
これなき内に手入しては必病蚕に成ものなれは其頃は
見合てよし
一 蚕糞（こかす）は蚕室の前にて立替其日毎に引はなれたる所へ取 運（はこ）
ひ万不浄の是なき様に取扱こかい屋も其日毎に掃除（そうじ）すべし
就中（なかんつく）にわこになりては蚕糞（こかす）の臭（にほひ）甚敷ものなれは夕桑を
かけ仕廻たらは戸障子も引立已後にこかすも取運（とりはこ）ぶべし
一まぶしへ蚕を入上へ揚時 火燧（ひうち）にて火を打かけべし是はやと

ひ揚置内 雷（らい）地震（じゝん）の恐（おそれ）なからん為也 古来（こらい）よりの呪法（ましない）と見得たり
一蚕室は云におよばす其家の内にて魚鳥の臭する事を嫌ふ去
なから蚕室へ隔（へたち）たる料理の間抔ならばくるしかるましす
べて養蚕する男女魚鳥を食する事は妨（さまたけ）なし万 韮（にら）蒜（にんにく）
葱（なまひる）の類《振り仮名： 臭気｜しうき｜にほい 》ふかきものを忌（いむ）べし
一 余（よか）家数年右の仕法を守養蚕するに第一に蚕を薄く置
庭起分揃まては壱枚の種さし渡し弐尺四五寸迄のわらた
百八拾枚位になしふなこ迄には桑五六度ツヽ庭起になれ
は一日に三度ツヽかけ蚕室の爐へ炭火を置事前のことく
手入するゆへ定法の日数より内三十二三日とてひき立

不揃いに食い、揃わないものである。
しかしながら、四眠揃いの頃から起蚕まではお手入れすることは甚だ悪い。
桑を二度もかけた後に取り広げるべきである。煩いが明らかで力が付いて
いない内に手入れしては必ず病蚕になるものであるから、その頃は
見計らって良い。
一 蚕糞は蚕室の前で立て替え、その日毎に離れた所へ取り運び、
万事不浄のないように取り扱い、蚕飼い屋もその日毎に掃除すべきである。
とりわけ五齢蚕になっては蚕糞の臭いが甚だしいものであるから、夕桑を
かけ終わったら戸障子も閉め立てた後に蚕糞も取り運ぶべきである。
一 蚕座へ蚕を入れ上へ上げる時、火打ち石で火を打ちかけるべきである。これは早く

上げ置く内に雷や地震の恐れがないようにするためである。古来よりの呪法と見受けられる。
一 蚕室は言うに及ばず、その家の内で魚鳥の臭いがすることを嫌う。されど
蚕室から隔てた料理の間などならば苦しくあるまい。すべて養蚕する男女が魚鳥を食することは妨げない。ただし韮・蒜・
葱の類で臭気の深いものを忌むべきである。
一 私の家では数年右の仕法を守り養蚕するに、第一に蚕を薄く置き、
梅雨起き分け揃うまでは一枚の種紙差し渡し二尺四、五寸までの藁簀
百八十枚位にし、触れ合うまでには桑を五、六度ずつ、梅雨起きになれ
ば一日に三度ずつかけ、蚕室の炉へ炭火を置くこと前の通り
手入れするので、定法の日数より三日内の三十二、三日で引き立てる

One: Not only in the silkworm room, but throughout the house, one should avoid the smell of fish and birds. However,
if it is in a kitchen separated from the silkworm room, it should not be problematic. In general, men and women engaged in sericulture eating fish and birds is not prohibited. However, one should avoid
items like chives, garlic, and green onions that have strong odors.
One: In my house, following these methods for sericulture for several years, first placing the silkworms thinly,
until the rainy season sorting is completed, using about one hundred and eighty straw mats
of up to 2.4-2.5 feet across per seed paper, until they touch each other, applying mulberry five or six times each, and when the rainy season rising begins,
applying it three times per day, placing charcoal fire in the silkworm room hearth as before,
and tending them accordingly, they can be raised in thirty-two to thirty-three days, three days earlier than the standard period.
