ただし、御座所において右の趣旨を申し渡すべきところ、夜中であったため御家老宅において申し渡した。

一　同日、右と同様の理由により、板取へは御先物頭赤宇津三右衛門、二ツ屋へは小林又右衛門、細呂木へは岡半右衛門を使者として留守番に派遣した。

一　閏四月二日、右と同様の理由により、大御番岩村門左衛門（御徒伊黒定七を付き添わせて）が道中七日の行程で江戸表へ出発した。
　　　　ただし門左衛門は同月九日に江戸に到着した。

一　同月十一日、御先物頭萩野四郎右衛門が豊仙院様の御法号を道中守護して福井に到着したので、御奏者番水谷織部を付き添わせて運正寺に納めた。

一　同月十七日、御勘定頭大久保下野守殿、建部彦次郎殿から申し来たので、大手勘定所へ御留守居大谷一右衛門が出向いたところ、御国許から江戸までの道程を書き出すようにとの御指図があったため、左の通り書付を一右衛門が持参して御勘定所へ提出した。

However, although the announcement should have been made at the lord's quarters, since it was nighttime, it was made at the senior retainer's residence instead.

1. On the same day, for the same reason, messengers were dispatched as substitutes: Akautsu Sanemon, senior ashigaru commander, to Itatori; Kobayashi Mataemon to Futsuya; and Oka Hanemon to Hosorogi.

1. Intercalary fourth month, 2nd day: For the same reason, Iwamura Monzaemon of the ōban (great guard) (with Ikuro Teishichi of the ashigaru attached) departed for Edo on a seven-day journey.
Note: Monzaemon arrived in Edo on the 9th of the same month.

1. 11th day of the same month: Senior ashigaru commander Hagino Shirōemon arrived in Fukui having escorted Lord Hōsen'in's posthumous Buddhist name along the road, so with Mizutani Oribe of the jōshaban accompanying, it was deposited at Unshōji Temple.

1. 17th day of the same month: Having received word from Lord Ōkubo Shimotsuke-no-kami and Lord Tatebe Hikojirō, heads of accounting, the resident representative Ōtani Ichiemon went to the Ōte accounting office. There he was instructed to write out the distance from the home domain to Edo, so Ichiemon brought and submitted the following written document to the accounting office:
