○客が言うには「サンイナ」は九つの島であり、その二つの島には人が住んでいない。島王は「ソホー」に住むという。これらは皆、西洋の説と食い違っている。とりあえずその説を官図と比較検討し、かつ巻末に翻訳文を付けて後の研究に備える。
○「オウイヘイ」島 客は「オワヘ」また「ワヘイ」と呼ぶ。その大きさは諸島中で最大である。大山があり、当初その「ヘド」港に停泊した。

Geographical Description of Foreign Lands
○ According to the guest, "San'ina" consists of nine islands, two of which are uninhabited. The island king resides in "Sohō," they say. All of these accounts contradict Western explanations. For now, I shall compare these accounts with official maps and attach translated texts at the end of the volume for future reference.
○ "Ōihei" Island: The guest calls it "Owahe" or "Wahei." It is the largest among all the islands. There is a great mountain, and initially we anchored at its "Hedo" port.
○ "Mōei" Island: The guest calls it "Maoi." South of the mountain there is "Wohainaro na" port, and north of the mountain there is "Roiroko" port. Both locations have flowing [text cuts off]
