現代語訳
尹の娘である。円融院の東宮となり、永観二年八月二十七日に譲位を受けて即位した。その時十七歳であった。頼忠が関白として従来通り務めた。この時、冷泉天皇と円融天皇が共に存命で、ともに太上天皇と称した。
寛和元年四月、藤原斉明とその弟保輔が悪党の首領として、藤原季孝と大江匡衡を刃物で傷つけ、匡衡の左手の指を切り落とした。斉明と保輔は行方をくらまして逃亡した。諸国に追討令を下し、斉明は近江国高島郡で誅殺された。
