康永元年正月、一条経通が関白を辞した。九条通教が関白となった。二月、久我長通が太政大臣を辞した。
九月、土岐頼遠が光厳上皇の御幸に行き逢い、狼藉に及んだ。直義は怒り、頼遠を誅した。十一月、九条通教（【ママ】）が関白を辞した。鷹司右府・師平が関白となった。十二月、尊氏の母・藤原清子が卒去した。これは上杉頼重の娘である。この縁故により、上杉の一族は威勢を振るった。
（康永）二年四月、洞院前右府・藤原公賢が左府に任じられた。二条内府・良基が右府に任じられた。三条大納言・実忠が内府に任じられた。
（康永）三年正月、尊氏が石清水（八幡宮）に参詣した。九月、直義が従三位に叙された。
貞和元年八月二十九日、天龍寺の供養が行われた。尊氏・直義が参詣した。夢窓国師が尊師（導師）を務めた。花園上皇・光厳上皇も（行幸された）。

In the first month of the first year of Kōei, Ichijō Tsunemichi resigned from the position of Regent (Kampaku). Kujō Michitaka became Regent. In the second month, Koga Nagatsu resigned from the position of Daijō-daijin.
In the ninth month, Toki Yoritō encountered the procession of the Retired Emperor Kōgon and committed an outrage against it. Tadayoshi, enraged, executed Yorito. In the eleventh month, Kujō Michitaka (sic) resigned from the position of Regent. Takatsukasa Udaijin Morahira became Regent. In the twelfth month, Takauji's mother, Fujiwara no Kiyoko, passed away. She was the daughter of Uesugi Yorishige. It was because of this connection that the Uesugi clan wielded great influence.
In the fourth month of the second year (of Kōei), the former Udaijin of the Tōin house, Fujiwara no Kinkata, was appointed Sadaijin (Minister of the Left). Nijō Naifu Yoshimoto was appointed Udaijin (Minister of the Right). Sanjō Dainagon Sanetada was appointed Naifu (Naidaijin).
In the first month of the third year (of Kōei), Takauji made a pilgrimage to Iwashimizu (Hachimangū Shrine). In the ninth month, Tadayoshi was granted the Junior Third Rank (Jushānmi).
On the twenty-ninth day of the eighth month of the first year of Jōwa, the dedication ceremony (kuyō) of Tenryū-ji was held. Takauji and Tadayoshi attended. National Teacher Musō served as the presiding monk (honored teacher). The Retired Emperor Hanazono and the Retired Emperor Kōgon also (attended)...
