一殿と呼ばれるようになった。同月、義満は左大臣に転任した。右大将はもとのままである。日を経て左大将に転じた。大納言藤原実時が内大臣に任じられた。閏正月、義満は蔵人所の別当に補せられた。三月、義満は牛車に乗ることを許された。四月、主上は位を御子・幹仁に譲られた。この御代、初めの三年間は先代の「応安」の年号を用いた。その後、永和四年、康暦二年、永徳二年と続いた。在位は合わせて十一年。
第百一代
後小松院 諱は幹仁。後円融天皇の長子である。母は通陽門院・藤原厳子という。三条の内大臣・公忠の娘である。永徳二年四月、六歳にて践祚された。三条前関白・太政大臣・良基が摂政となった。後円融上皇は院中にて政務を執られた。

[The residence] came to be called "Ichiden" (One Palace). In the same month, Yoshimitsu was transferred to the position of Minister of the Left (Sadaijin). His post as Right General (Udaishō) remained unchanged. After some days, he was further transferred to Left General (Sadaishō). The Great Counselor (Dainagon) Fujiwara no Sanetoki was appointed to the post of Inner Minister (Naidaijin). In the intercalary first month, Yoshimitsu was appointed as the head (bettō) of the Kurōdo-dokoro (Imperial Secretariat). In the third month, Yoshimitsu was granted permission to ride in an ox-drawn carriage (gissha). In the fourth month, the Emperor abdicated in favor of his son, Prince Motohi (幹仁). During this reign, the first three years used the era name "Ōan" (応安) from the previous reign, followed by Eiwa (four years), Kōryaku (two years), and Eitoku (two years). The total length of reign was eleven years.
The 101st Emperor
The Retired Emperor Go-Komatsu — His personal name (imina) was Motohi (幹仁). He was the eldest son of Emperor Go-Enyū. His mother was Tsūyōmon-in, Fujiwara no Itsuko, the daughter of the Inner Minister (Naidaijin) Kintada of the Sanjō family. In the fourth month of Eitoku 2 (1382), he acceded to the throne at the age of six. Sanjō no Motoie, former Regent and Grand Minister of State (Daijō-daijin), Yoshimoto, served as Regent (Sesshō). The Retired Emperor Go-Enyū conducted state affairs from within the In (Retired Emperor's court).
