大和本草曰
秋牡丹 和名たうぎく
又 高麗菊

武江にて
秋めい菊 是は不載せ大
和本草に
乙酉南呂廿有四日於
後園真寫
和漢三才圖會濕草類に曰
紫衣菊（しえぎく） 加賀菊
越前菊
貴布禰（きぶね）菊
以上皆俗稱
本名不詳
或云 之宇女伊岐久（しうめいぎく）
賀外越外及び城外貴布禰の社の
邊谷に多し故に在る三名者
現代語訳
『大和本草』に言う：
秋牡丹 和名はたうぎく

ある人が言うには「しうめいぎく」
加賀の外、越前の外及び京都の外、貴船の社の辺りの谷に多い。故にこの三つの名前がある

The "Wakan Sansai Zue" (Illustrated Sino-Japanese Encyclopedia) in the section on marsh plants states:
Purple robe chrysanthemum (shiegiku), Kaga chrysanthemum
Echizen chrysanthemum
Kibune chrysanthemum
All of the above are common names
The proper name is unclear
Some say it is "shūmeigiku"
They are abundant in the valleys around the shrines outside Kaga, outside Echizen, and outside the capital at Kibune. Hence these three names exist
