『月令広義』に出づ
和名：
- イタノキク（板野菊）
- マツムシソウ（松虫草）
- リンホウキク（輪鳳菊）
- ヌケンモツコウ

『地錦抄』に曰く、
狼牙（ろうが）の一種。大根は考えるに、葉を「ケンモツコウ」と謂う。

『救荒本草』に曰く、柳葉草（りゅうようそう） 二種の内の一種
柳葉草
植木店の人が言うには、
水楊草（すいようそう）
私（梅園）が言うには、水楊とは俗に川柳（かはやなぎ）と言う。
この草は葉が柳に似ているゆえに「水楊草」という。
「柳葉草」と同じものである。

The *Chikinshō* states:
This is a variety of *Rōga* (狼牙 / "Wolf's Fang"). Upon investigation, what is called Daikon [here] — its leaves are referred to as *Kenmokkou*.

The *Kyūkō Honzō* states: *Ryūyōsō* (柳葉草 / "Willow-leaf Herb") — one of two varieties:
Willow-leaf Herb (柳葉草)
A nurseryman (plant shop keeper) says:
*Suiyōsō* (水楊草 / "Water Willow Herb")
I (Baien) state: *Suiyō* (水楊) is commonly called *Kawayagi* (川柳 / "River Willow").
This herb's leaves resemble those of the willow, and so it is called *Suiyōsō* ("Water Willow Herb").
This is the same plant as *Ryūyōsō* ("Willow-leaf Herb").
