表へ派遣し、御肴一種を献上した。宇左衛門は今日福井を出立した。
但し同月二十一日に御返書のお渡しがあった。
一、同日、豊姫様の縁組の件について離縁となったため、大岡治右衛門忠久殿、徳山又兵衛重年殿まで仰せ遣わされ、御口上書を左の通り江戸表へ派遣された。
我等の孫娘について、四年以前に飛鳥井宰相が養子となした花山院大納言殿へ縁組をしたい旨申し上げたところ、願いの通り仰せ出された。その以後、大納言殿が病気のため今に至るまで婚礼を執り行っていない。然るところ、大納言殿の病気が長引く様子であるとのことで、頃日花山院入道殿より宰相方へ離縁の申し入れがあった旨、宰相方より申し来たので、その旨を理解した旨返答した。これにより入道殿、宰相方より伝奏中まで申し達する由であるので、右の趣を土屋相模守殿まで御話し頂きたくお願い申し上げる。

但し江戸表において御使者が相勤めた月日は不詳である。
一、六月十日、湯治のため大味浦へお出かけになった（同十四日御帰殿）。
一、同月十二日、帰国御礼の御使者杉田五郎兵衛三竹の御目見を仰せ付けられ、且つ自分の御礼を申し上げ、御礼のため御使者川瀬次大夫興治を江戸表へ派遣し、今日福井を出立した。

1. On the same day, regarding the matter of Princess Toyo's marriage arrangement which resulted in divorce, [the lord] sent word to Ōoka Jiemon Tadahisa and Tokuyama Matahei Shigenari, dispatching the following verbal message to Edo:
Regarding my granddaughter, four years ago I petitioned to arrange her marriage to Kazanin Dainagon, who had been adopted by Asukani Saisho, and this was approved as requested. Since then, due to Dainagon's illness, the wedding ceremony has not yet been conducted. However, as Dainagon's condition appears likely to be prolonged, Kazanin Nyudo recently informed Saisho of his intention to break off the engagement, which Saisho has communicated to me. I have responded acknowledging this situation. Accordingly, Nyudo and Saisho will report this matter to the court mediators (densō), so I humbly request that you relate this situation to Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami.
