This too is a variety of the Genbu-semi (Dark Cicada), with body, legs, and antennae all black, and all four wings bearing numerous green-colored spots. This is the creature that transforms from the caterpillar (蠋) that feeds on white dittany (*Dictamnus albus*), and it lays its eggs on the undersides of leaves.
