……跡のあるのを見るべし。かつその遺徳によりて捷利（勝利）を得ることは必然であろう。
そもそも「フランス」国は挙げて汝らのために捷利あらんことを天神に祈り、かつ皆憤激せる祝文を唱えて、眼を汝らの働きに注いでいる。ゆえにあえて怠ることなかれ。われらに成功あるにおいては、国家の不羁（自由）・開花の幸福を増さん。○励めよや、兵卒よ、汝各々その任を終えよ。慎めよや、兵卒よ、軍神来たりて汝の頭に臨めり。
