【右丁】
参向後は直ちに帰宅する。ただし道中三、四箇所で集合することについては後に別記する。
一、朔日・二日両日の内に、冠の懸緒一筋（吉野杉原紙六丈）、装束の袖括二筋（吉野杉原紙八丈）
右記について 太紙捻りを捻り、薄糊でしごいて締めて作り置くこと
外に巻数括の紙捻り一筋（杉原紙三丈）を少し太く捻って用意すること。これは糊付けに及ばず
含み鯛の空袋二筋（半紙六丈）、菖蒲根括用半紙半長七、八十筋程
一、吉野杉原紙一帖（上質）、半紙四折（或いは五折）をかねてから取り寄せ置くこと
右記は巻幣・裂き幣・紙捻り・菖蒲包等にも入用である（ただし杉原紙は紙捻り・包紙等まで同じ紙にすれば一帖では少し不足である）

一、水上げの下女は朔日より六日まで毎日呼び寄せ、終日召し置く（ただし近年は用事無き日は呼び寄せない人もあるため、それ故料金も減少があると聞き伝えている）

一、朔日夕方、参籠所へ夜具・枕を風呂敷に包み、水上げの下女に持たせて遣わすこと（ただし初乗が参籠屋を開ける時節のみ持たせて遣わすこと）
一、二日より五日まで、毎朝湯屋において自分が行水を済ませても、まず浄衣の下のみ着し、外を見合わせて相待つべし。金津の行水が相済んだ以後、各々上を着るべしとの示し合わせがあって、その後烏帽子・浄衣の上を着して退出する。金津は十九人が済んだ後に行水されるためである。
一、御禊竹一本用意のこと（四寸位、去る三日に陰陽師来臨の時入用）
一、忍び竹四、五本用意すべきこと（ただし忍び竹無き場合は節の割り竹でも用意可能）三日陰陽師来臨時に入用
一、二日の朝、社参下向の時、大田山にて榊の枝を取りて帰るべし（門・清間・楼笥等の注連に用いる。ただし屋敷の内に榊があれば此の義に及ばず）
一、注連縄を申し付けること 以上五筋 門一筋 清間一筋 手桶一筋
楼笥二筋、内一筋は覆い括りなり（ただし覆い括りには四手や榊葉を付けるに及ばず）

1. Female servants for water service should be summoned daily from the 1st to 6th day and kept all day (However, in recent years some people do not summon them on days without tasks, so fees have reportedly decreased accordingly)

1. On the evening of the first day, wrap bedding and pillow in a furoshiki and have the water service maid carry them to the vigil site (However, only have them carried when the first rider opens the vigil building)
1. From the second to fifth day, even after completing one's own purification at the bathhouse each morning, first wear only the undergarment of the purification robe and wait while observing others. There is an agreement that everyone should put on their outer garments after Kanazu completes his purification, and afterward put on the ceremonial cap and outer purification robe before departing. This is because Kanazu performs purification after nineteen people have finished.
1. Prepare one purification bamboo stick (about 4 sun long, needed when the yin-yang master visits on the third day)
