乗尻祓いは陰陽師が三日に来臨の時杉原紙を取り帰り、私宅において認め、五日の朝物忌と一緒に陰陽師より来るのである（私注：装束祓いは陰陽師より預大夫へ渡され、預大夫が糊の上へ出し置く）
一、三日社参相済み帰宅以後、神宮寺の鐘次第で烏帽子浄衣を着し（刀無し）、装束祓いを持ち、水上げの下女を召し連れて庁屋へ参り、装束を請け取る。祓い品々をよくよく改め、もし傷等もあれば奉行中へ申し届けて置くべし。相済み以後、水上げの下女に持たせて帰る
