現代語訳
御霊前へ五十日の内御番を相勤めた。
一 同年八月、御表御小性を仰せつけられ、会津勝手を仰せつけられた。
ただし前日、御内意をもって御表へ仰せつけられる予定であったが、常詰を望むか会津勝手を望むかと御尋ねがあったため、養祖母を会津へ差し置いているので会津勝手を願い申し上げた。
一 同年九月、御膳番見習を仰せつけられた。
一 同七未年正月、貞昭様御附常詰御小性を仰せつけられた。
一 同年五月、母との対面のため五十日の御暇を願い申し上げたところ、御下向の御道中で御表勤を仰せつけられ御供を仕って下り、逗留中に御小性中に病人があり御番方が不足したため、御番方を相勤めるよう仰せつけられ、並の外の御留めを成された旨を仰せられた。
英語訳
He served guard duty at the spirit altar for fifty days.
One In the 8th month of the same year, he was appointed as 御表御小性 (formal page) and assigned to Aizu duty.
However, the previous day, he was to be appointed to formal service by private indication, but when asked whether he desired regular attendance or Aizu duty, he requested Aizu duty, stating that his adoptive grandmother had been left in Aizu.
One In the 9th month of the same year, he was appointed as apprentice to the meal service.
One In the 1st month of the same 7th year, year of the sheep (1787), he was appointed as regular attendant page to Lord Sadaaki.
One In the 5th month of the same year, when he petitioned for fifty days' leave to meet with his mother, he was ordered to serve in formal duty during the lord's journey down to the domain and accompanied him. During his stay, as there were sick persons among the pages and the guard staff was insufficient, he was ordered to serve guard duty and was granted extended leave beyond the normal period.
