一 元禄五年（1692）申年十二月、親の願いの通り御番代外様組付を仰せ付けられ、日向三郎右衛門組に入り、御城御番を勤めた。
一 同八年（1695）亥年三月、勤番のため江戸表へ上り、一陣を勤め、同年下った。
一 同年八月、頭の日向三郎右衛門の願いの通り御役を免じられ、田中加兵衛組に移った。

1. In the 12th month of Genroku 5 (1692), year of the Monkey, as per his father's request, he was appointed to the outer guard unit as a replacement guard, joined Hyūga Saburōzaemon's unit, and served in castle guard duty.
1. In the 3rd month of the 8th year of the same era (1695), year of the Boar, he went up to Edo for guard duty service, completed one tour of duty, and returned the same year.
1. In the 8th month of the same year, as per the request of his commander Hyūga Saburōzaemon, he was relieved of his duties and transferred to Tanaka Kahē's unit.
