相勤取計行及門弟共宜取立候ニ
付為御褒美御召古御小袖壱ッ銀
子二枚被下置候事
一 同五丑年七月弟子中槍術
貞昭様奉入御覧候処私幷弟子
中槍術宜仕候段被 仰出候事
一 同日大内流之義ㇵ中ニも大業ニ有
之大仕合不致来候処今度御好ニ
付一同仕合いたし入 御覧初而
之儀旁を以御内々御酒被下置
之旨被 仰出候事
一 同年九月追鳥狩ニ罷出候
但此後二度罷出候事
一 同六寅年三月
貞昭様御在国中芸術繁多ニ被
遊 御上覧候処踏込精出宜取
計候由ニ付為御褒美綿弐把被下置
候事
一 同年四月去々年中ゟ士中槍術
稽古ニ付臨時ニ骨折宜取立候ニ付

相勤め取り計らい、門弟共をよく取り立てたことに
付き、御褒美として御召古御小袖一つ、銀子
二枚を下し置かれた件
一 同五年丑年七月、弟子中の槍術を
貞昭様に入御覧いただいた処、私並びに弟子
中の槍術がよく仕候段を仰せ出された件
一 同日、大内流の義は中にも大業にこれ有り
大仕合を致して来なかった処、今度御好みに
付き一同仕合いたし入御覧、初めての
儀ということを以て御内々にて御酒を下し置かれた
旨を仰せ出された件
一 同年九月、追鳥狩に罷り出た
但しこの後二度罷り出た件
一 同六年寅年三月
貞昭様御在国中、芸術繁多に
御上覧遊ばされた処、踏み込み精を出しよく取り
計らった由に付き、御褒美として綿二把を下し置かれた
件
一 同年四月、去々年中より士中の槍術
稽古に付き臨時に骨折りよく取り立てたことに付き

一 In the 7th month of the same 5th year, Year of the Ox (1793), when the spear techniques of his disciples
were presented for Lord Sadaaki's inspection, it was announced that both
his own and his disciples' spear techniques were performed well
一 On the same day, regarding the Ōuchi school, though it is among the most advanced arts,
major competitions had not been held before, but this time, according to his lordship's preference,
all performed competitions for his viewing, and since this was the first
such occasion, sake was privately granted
as was announced
一 In the 9th month of the same year, he participated in the hunting drive

一 In the 3rd month of the same 6th year, Year of the Tiger (1794),
while Lord Sadaaki was residing in the domain, he frequently
observed the martial arts, and seeing that he applied himself diligently and managed well,
as a reward, two bundles of cotton were granted
一 In the 4th month of the same year, since the year before last he had worked diligently
in instructing warriors in spear techniques and had trained them well
