葉裏白菊（ウラジロギク）　國俗變生以テ葉名トス然共 斑（フ）入ニ非ラス

梅枝草

現代語訳

本草綱目に曰く
　　薇銜（びかん）　小葉のある一種
　　　　　　張良草（ちょうりょうそう）　小野蘭山の説による
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　同年南呂十六日に写す

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　丑年無射七日に写す

葉裏白菊（うらじろぎく）　国俗では変生として葉の名としている。しかしながら斑（ふ）入りではなく、本来の生まれつきのものである。

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Sketched on the 7th day of Museki month in the year of Ushi (Ox)

Urajiro giku (White-backed chrysanthemum) — In common Japanese usage, this is named after its leaf as a variant form. However, it is not a variegated (fū-iri) plant, but rather one that is naturally occurring in its original form.

Baishisō (Prunus branch herb / Cardamine)
