とこれと混雑せず、痘瘡を患って麻毒が作るものでもなく、麻疹を患って痘毒も抜けがたい。《割書：予（よ）｜》ある女性の梅毒で軽粉剤を服用し、咽頭・口腔がただれて苦しんでいる者を治療した。ある日悪寒発熱して重い痘瘡を患い出した。数度危険に至ったが、幸いに命を失わずして痘瘡は治ったが、梅毒は少しも減じず、その後さまざまに治療してようやく治った。これは皆病気それぞれ、その毒気が各別であって混雑しないものである。これすなわち天地陰陽造化の妙であって、草木は草木であるが万種万類である。生類は生類であるが、生類もまた万種万類である。病気は病気であるが、病気もまた万種万類である。医家はこれを理解せず、痘瘡は胎毒の発するもので、蛇の衣を脱ぎ蝉の殻を脱ぐように一身の毒を脱ぎ去るゆえに、後に諸病も軽く身の幸いであるというのは甚だしい誤りである。たと

えいかほど重い痘瘡を患っても、もとより痘瘡を患うべき毒のみ尽きて一毛ほども身のためにはならず、身中に含める諸々の毒気は少しも減ずることなく、万病ともにこの理で万毒なるのは、痘瘡の後麻疹を患い、漆にかぶれる類でも知るべきである。近頃一派の医流がみだりに万病一毒の説をなして多くの人を迷わせている。これは元来陰陽造化の明理を理解しないゆえに、病気はいかなるものということも知らず、ただ暴戻不仁の心より出た僻説であって、大いに医道に害があって、また大いに人命に害がある。万病を一毒なりというのは、治金工が金銀銅鉄錫鉛を分別なく一つの金なりというのと同様で、必ず鍛錬の功はなしがたい。かりそめにも医は司命の業なれば、かかる虚言に欺かれて万病を一毒と心得、みだりに薬を用いて人命を害することなかれ。

One day she developed chills and fever and broke out with severe smallpox. She came close to death several times, but fortunately did not lose her life. While the smallpox was cured, the syphilitic toxin was not reduced in the least. Afterward, through various treatments, she gradually recovered. All of this shows that each disease and its toxic qi are separate and do not mix. This is indeed the mystery of heaven, earth, yin-yang, and creation - while plants are plants, there are myriad species and varieties. While living beings are living beings, living beings also come in myriad species and varieties. While diseases are diseases, diseases also come in myriad species and varieties. Medical practitioners do not understand this and say that smallpox is the manifestation of fetal toxin, and like a snake shedding its skin or a cicada molting its shell, it removes all toxins from the body, therefore afterward all diseases become lighter and this is fortunate for the body - this is a grave error. one suffers from extremely severe smallpox, only the toxin that was meant to cause smallpox is exhausted, providing not even a hair's worth of benefit to the body. The various toxic qi contained within the body are not reduced in the least. The same principle applies to all diseases - that there are myriad toxins can be understood from cases where people suffer measles after smallpox, or develop lacquer poisoning. Recently, a certain school of medical thought has carelessly promoted the theory of "all diseases, one toxin" and has misled many people. This is because they fundamentally do not understand the clear principles of yin-yang and creation, and thus do not know what disease actually is. This is merely a perverse theory arising from violent and inhumane hearts that greatly harms medical practice and also greatly harms human life. Saying that all diseases are one toxin is like a metalworker claiming that gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, and lead are all the same metal without distinction - certainly the craft of forging would be impossible. Even superficially, medicine is the profession of governing life, so do not be deceived by such false words, mistakenly believing all diseases are one toxin, and carelessly using medicines to harm human life.
