Therefore, many children fall ill simultaneously, the toxic qi immediately spreads vigorously, and the epidemic's momentum necessarily becomes rapid. With typhoid fever, epidemic diseases, and all epidemic illnesses in general, the beginning and end are mild with few deaths, but during the peak period there are many severe cases and many deaths.
