**[Right Folio]** Brief Record of Deity Names of the Mioya Shrine (御祖神宮) Mioya Kōtaijingū — Two Shrines (Seats) West: Kan-Yamato Iwarehiko no Sumerамikoto (神日本磐余彦天皇) — posthumously styled Emperor Jinmu (神武天皇) East: Himetatarai suzuhime (姫蹈鞴五十鈴姫) The above is the explanation of the Shamusoke (社務家, the shrine administrative house). Within the Shamusoke there is one known as Sukenosato (祐之郷). Being a man of outstanding talent in recent times, he raised the standing of his house; from this, he concurred with this explanation. There is also an interpretation that identifies our shrine's deity with Amatsu Hikohiko ho no Ninigi no Mikoto West: Ōnamuchi no Kami (大己貴神) East: [blank] **[Left Folio]** The above is the explanation of the Hafurike (祝家, the priestly house). Upon examination, this is incorrect. The Gige (義解, the official commentary) on the Jingi-ryō (神祇令, Codes on Kami Affairs) states: "The heavenly deities (ame no kami) refer to [those of] Ise and the Kamo of Yamashiro." Ōnamuchi no Kami is an earthly deity (kunitsukami) and is therefore not the correct explanation. One should be able to see this for oneself. The same (priestly house) interpretation also identifies our shrine's deity as Kotoshironushi (事代主). Oshite-den (璽殿, the Hall of the Sacred Seal) Located to the west of the Main Sanctuary. According to Sukenosato: this is where the numinous virtue of the Three Sacred Imperial Treasures [specifically the Sacred Jewel (信璽)#1 — this is it] is reverently enshrined and worshipped. Affiliated Shrine: Kawai Shrine — One Seat Called "the Shrine of Hokora-e (小社宅の神社)" in the Engishiki. This is that shrine. Tamayori-hime (玉依姫) — mother (iroha)#3 of Emperor Jinmu The above is the explanation of Sukenosato. Misogi Jinja (三身神社) — Three Seats Listed in the Shikinaisha. Also called "the Shrine of Yatagarasu (八咫烏)." Also called "the Shrine of Tatekura (蓼倉)." Commonly known today as "Mii no Yashiro (三井の社)." Taketsunumi no Mikoto (建角身命) Ikakoyahime (伊賀古夜日女)
