- In the 10th month of the same year, he was appointed as御旗奉行 (Mihata-bugyō, Banner/Standard Commissioner).
- In the 12th month of the same 14th year (Year of the Snake), he was appointed as番頭 (Bantō, Company Commander/Unit Head) in the presence of the lord.
- In the 8th month of Kanei 4 (Year of the Boar), he was relieved of his official duties as requested.
- In the same month, he was appointed as御旗奉行 (Banner Commissioner) again.
- In the 9th month of Shōtoku 2 (Year of the Dragon), having been ill for a long time and failing to submit the required reports [of his condition], he was dismissed from his official post and assigned to the Kobushin (reserve/inactive) status.

- In the 8th month of the following year, the 3rd year (Year of the Snake), his younger brother Shichidayū was appointed as his adopted heir by order of the lord.
- In the same month, as requested, his son Shichidayū was appointed to take over his duties (御番代, guard duty succession).
