一、同十二午年正月、願いの通り御役をお免じになり、忰（せがれ）勝右衛門が御番代を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、明和六丑年二月、願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、安永七戌年九月十八日、七十一歳にて病死。法名、正浄院釈慮感導師。葬所は同上。

— In the first month of the twelfth year (Year of the Horse), in accordance with his petition, he was relieved of his official duties, and his son Katsuemon was appointed in his place as guard (goban-dai).
— In the second month of Meiwa 6 (Year of the Ox, 1769), in accordance with his petition, he was granted permission to retire (inkyo).
— On the eighteenth day of the ninth month of An'ei 7 (Year of the Dog, 1778), he died of illness at the age of seventy-one. His posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō) was Shōjōin Shakuryokan Dōshi. His place of burial is the same as stated above.
