一、延享四卯年七月、親の願いの通り、初めての御目見を仰せ付けられ候事。

— On the fifteenth day of the fifth month of Hōreki 7 (Year of the Ox, 1757), a marriage arrangement between Bunta, son of Hori Han'emon, and the daughter of Ifuka Moemon was recorded as having been completed by petition; however, since the written declarations (kakidashi) from both parties were not submitted, the matter was set down in writing in accordance with the official record (kanki).
— In the seventh month of Enkyō 4 (Year of the Rabbit, 1747), in accordance with his father's petition, he was granted his first formal audience (o-memie) with the lord.
