一、同五申年十月、勤番のため江戸へ罷り登り、翌酉年五月、御下向の節、御道中御使番仮役を相勤め、御供にて罷り下り候事。

— In the third month of An'ei 4 (Year of the Sheep, 1775), in accordance with his father's petition, he traveled up to Edo, where he had his first formal audience (o-mie) with the lord.
— In the fifth month of the same year, he received the hereditary stipend (atoshiki o-chigyō) of one thousand koku without change, was assigned to the tōzama-gumitsuki (outer retainer unit), entered the unit of Ikoma Kuranosuke, and took up his duty as castle guard (o-shiro o-ban).
— In the tenth month of An'ei 5 (Year of the Monkey, 1776), he traveled up to Edo for rotational duty (kinban), and in the fifth month of the following year (Year of the Rooster), on the occasion of the lord's return journey, he served in the provisional role of road-relay messenger (o-dōchū o-tsukaiban kari-yaku) and returned in the lord's escort.

— In the third month of An'ei 7 (Year of the Dog, 1778), he was appointed to the post of mononogashira-yaku (unit commander).
— In the fifth month of the same year, he received custody of the detained person Nakamura Testuma from Tōyama Iemon, and in the sixth month transferred that person to the son of Nomura Orisazaemon.
— In the fourth month of An'ei 8 (Year of the Boar, 1779), he traveled up to Edo for rotational duty, and returned in the tenth month of the same year.
