一、同八申年十月、弓・銃の手始めの儀に候ところ、出精致し候につき、御褒美として綿二把を下し置かれ候事。
一、同月、半右衛門と改名仕りたき旨、願いに任ぜられ候事。
一、寛政五丑年三月、願いの通り御役を御免ぜられ、忰・源吾が御番代を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同十一未年十月、病死。法名、随照院

— In the ninth month of Tenmei 6 (Year of the Horse, 1786), having diligently performed rotational duty (mawari-kinme) for three years, he was rewarded with two bundles of cotton (wata) as a mark of commendation.
— In the tenth month of Tenmei 8 (Year of the Monkey, 1788), as this was the occasion of the inaugural practice (tehajime) of archery and firearms, he applied himself with great diligence, and was accordingly rewarded with two bundles of cotton as a mark of commendation.
— In the same month, his petition to change his name to Han'emon was granted.
— In the third month of Kansei 5 (Year of the Ox, 1793), in accordance with his petition, he was relieved of his post, and his son Gengo was appointed in his place as guard substitute (o-ban-dai).
— In the tenth month of Kansei 11 (Year of the Sheep, 1799), he died of illness. Posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō): Zuishō-in
