【右丁】   銀子三枚を下し置かれ候事。 一、同年十二月、預かり足軽どもの鉄砲習練の筋、労費を厭わず、彼是出精して世話致し候につき、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれ候事。 一、同十午年十一月、御預かり人・籾山藤馬を会所より請け取り、同十二月、公事所へ相渡し候事。 一、同十一未年九月、追鳥狩につき罷り出で、獲物を拝領仕り候。    但し、此の後二度罷り出で候事。 一、同年十一月、跡式御知行千石、御相違なく下し置かれ、唯今迄の通り物頭を相勤め候様、仰せ付けられ候事。 【左丁】 一、同月、当追鳥狩の節、組の者ども、足並み・調子等、一体に聯属し、進退の手都合よく相整い、かねて出精し差図に及び候儀と思し召しの旨、仰せ出され候。    但し、此の後毎度御称美を成し下され候事。 一、享和三亥年正月、越後筋に不慮の儀につき、御境目まで御人数を差し出され候処、組の者ども、かねて心懸けよく、暫時に支度調い出で

**[Right folio]** — three silver coins (gin-san-mai) were bestowed upon him. — In the twelfth month of the same year (Kansei 8, 1796), as he had, without begrudging the labor and expense, diligently attended to and supervised the musket-training drills of the ashigaru (foot soldiers) placed under his charge, a bundle of cotton (wata hitotaba) was bestowed upon him as a commendation. — In the eleventh month of Kansei 10 (Year of the Horse, 1798), he received into his custody the prisoner Momiyama Tōma from the kaisho (administrative office), and in the twelfth month of the same year, he transferred the said person to the kujisho (judicial/litigation office). — In the ninth month of Kansei 11 (Year of the Goat, 1799), he turned out for the oitorigari (game hunt), and received a portion of the catch as a gift from the lord.    Note: He turned out for this event two more times thereafter. — In the eleventh month of the same year, he was confirmed in the inherited stipend (atoshiki go-chigyō) of one thousand koku, without alteration, and was ordered to continue serving as monogashira (unit commander) as before. **[Left folio]** — In the same month, at the time of the oitorigari, the men of his unit moved in complete coordination — their pace, rhythm, and the overall management of their advances and withdrawals were well ordered — and it was declared to be a reflection of his ongoing diligence and direction of his men.
