【右丁】
一、同十二（亥）年十二月、御供として勤番のため江戸へ上ったところ、翌子年五月、御上京につき御供をした件。
ただし、陣中において本務のほか、御広間御番にも精を出して勤め、かつ御奏者番定加にも精を出して勤めた段を仰せ出された件。
一、文政三（辰）年正月、半兵衛と改名したき旨、願いに任せられた件。
一、同四（巳）年八月、貞鑑院御逝去につき、早打ちの御使いを仰せ付けられ、江戸へ上り、御葬送の節に御代拝ならびに公儀へ仕立ての御使者を仰せ付けられた件。

Item: In the 12th month of the 12th year of the same era (Year of the Boar, Bunka 12), having gone up to Edo to serve as an attendant on guard duty, he accompanied the lord during the latter's visit to Kyoto in the 5th month of the following year (Year of the Rat).
Note: During the campaign, in addition to his primary duties, he diligently served as a guard in the o-hirōma (the great reception hall), and it was also declared that he had diligently performed the additional duties of o-sōjaban-sadaka (supplementary ceremonial announcer).
Item: In the 1st month of Bunsei 3 (Year of the Dragon), his request to change his name to Hanbei was granted.
Item: In the 8th month of Bunsei 4 (Year of the Snake), upon the death of Teikan-in, he was dispatched as a fast-post messenger to Edo, and at the time of the funeral procession, he was appointed to perform the o-daibai (proxy worship/obeisance on behalf of the lord) and to serve as a formal messenger to the shogunate.
