一、同五年（辰年）正月、蝦夷地御固めの御用にて罷り越したにつき、御目見を仰せ付けられ、御流れを頂戴し、大書院において御酒を下し置かれた。
一、同月、蝦夷地唐太島へ罷り越し、同九月中に御用が相済み、帰陣仕った。
一、同年十二月、蝦夷地御固めの御用にて罷り越した際、海陸の往来をはじめ、彼の地において数日にわたり勤労致したにつき、御城において相組一同に御料理を下し置かれた。

一、同年八月、追鳥狩の節に罷り出た。

- In the first month of Bunka 5 (Year of the Dragon), having traveled to Ezo for guard duty (*okatame no goyō*), he was granted an audience with the lord, received the lord's leavings (*onagaré*), and was served sake at the Grand Audience Chamber (Ōshoin).
- In the same month, he traveled to Karafuto Island in Ezo territory, and in the ninth month of the same year, his official duties were completed and he returned to base (kijin).
- In the twelfth month of the same year, having traveled to Ezo for guard duty, and having labored diligently there for several days including overland and sea travel, his entire unit was rewarded with a formal meal (*oryōri*) at the castle.

- In the eighth month of Bunka 6 (Year of the Snake), having completed his duties guarding Ezo and having labored diligently, he was granted one set of seasonal garments (*ojifuku*).
- In the eighth month of the same year, he attended the *Otoritogari* (a falconry/bird-hunting exercise).
Note: On one subsequent occasion he attended and received the birds caught as a gift.
- In the tenth month of the same year, during the *Otoritogari*, as the formation, marching order, and overall coordination had been well executed without any difficulty in operations, and as it was deemed to be the result of diligent practice in joint formation drills (*gattai keiko*) conducted beforehand, the entire unit was commended and praised.
