　徳永弥次右衛門からの二度目の返答
一、去る十二日の御飛脚が昨日十四日の朝到着し、即刻丹波守殿のもとに参り、各位から松本利兵衛方への御状并びに仰せ下された趣旨をお伝えしたところ、その筆談の内容をよく御検討されて、追って仰せ聞かせられるとのことでした。外記殿のもとにも参上し、御筆談の写しを差し出し、御家臣への御状も丹波守殿と同様に差し出したところ、追って仰せ聞かせられるとのことでした。今日、御両所から私が呼び出され、仰せ聞かされた内容は別紙に申し上げます。恐れ入ります。謹んで申し上げます。

Second response from Tokunaga Yajiemon
1. The express messenger from the 12th arrived yesterday morning on the 14th. I immediately went to Lord Tanba and conveyed the letters from everyone to Matsumoto Riheibe's place, as well as the matters you instructed me to convey. He said that the contents of the written conversation would be carefully deliberated and that he would give his response later. I also went to Lord Geki, submitted a copy of the written conversation, and presented the letter to his retainer in the same manner as to Lord Tanba, where I was told that a response would be given later.
