　由令承知候則右之趣江戸へ飛脚を以申上
　長清様御旅中へも申上候無程其元御到着被成儀候間
　引渡相済候通中逢に而聞召候趣丹波守殿外記
　殿え御勤被遊候様にと御旅中へ申上事候拙者共ゟ
　右御両所え御答之儀は孫六瀬兵衛帰候上可受候間

　口上取繕可被申述候前々ゟ漂着船被送越御請取
　被成候迄之御答以書状不申述候付此節も其通にいたし

現代語訳

その旨を承知いたしました。すぐにその趣旨を江戸へ飛脚で申し上げ、長清様のご旅行中にも申し上げました。間もなくそちらにご到着になることでしょうから、引き渡しが済んだ通りを直接お会いして聞き召される趣旨で、丹波守殿・外記殿へご挨拶されるようにと、ご旅行中に申し上げたことです。私どもから右のご両所への返答の件は、孫六・瀬兵衛が帰参した上で承ることになりますので、その心得でいてください。恐れながら謹んで申し上げます。

一、三木孫六・吉田瀬兵衛その他の面々とも九月二十四日に帰着しました。これにより徳永弥次右衛門へ御老中から御飛脚で左の通り申し越されました。

九月二十七日

一、右の警固の面々が帰着し、唐船の御受取が相済んだ趣旨を詳細に承知いたしました。貴殿が丹波守殿・外記殿へ出向き、岐志浦に漂着した唐船を今月十日に異議なく御受取になった段を承知いたしました。この段を江戸において肥前守方へ申し越した由、私どもからの口上を取り繕って申し述べてください。以前から漂着船を送り越され御受取になるまでの御答を書状で申し述べていませんので、この度もその通りにいたします由、右の趣旨を仰せ越されました。

一、右の引き渡しが相済んだ通りを江戸において殿様がお聞きになりました。これにより石河土佐守殿・渡辺外記殿へ

I have understood the matter. I immediately reported this matter to Edo by courier, and also reported it to Lord Nagakiyo during his travels. Since he will arrive there shortly, I reported during his travels that he should pay his respects to Lord Tamba-no-kami and Lord Geki, with the understanding that he would meet directly and hear about how the handover was completed. Regarding our responses to both of those lords, we will receive them after Magoroku and Sehei return, so please keep this in mind. Respectfully and humbly submitted.

1. Miki Magoroku, Yoshida Sehei, and other members all returned on September 24th. Accordingly, the following message was sent by courier from the Senior Councilors to Tokunaga Yajiemon:

September 27th

1. I have understood in detail that the guard members returned and the reception of the Chinese ship was completed. I have learned that you, sir, went to Lord Tamba-no-kami and Lord Geki, and that they received the Chinese ship that drifted to Kishiura on the 10th of this month without incident. Regarding this matter being reported to the Hizen-no-kami office in Edo, please make appropriate verbal statements on our behalf. Since we have not previously made written responses until drifted ships were sent over and received, we will do the same this time. This is what was conveyed.
