現代語訳

歴年の貢使に充てられる人々である。故に並びにその字爵を列挙し、考証に備える。

蔡氏は、元々福建泉州府晋江県の人である。《割書：明史実録によると、成化五年、長史蔡璟が入貢した。自ら言うには、その祖は南安県の人である。》宋の端明学士襄の後裔。十二世、合わせて八十一人。

These are the people who served as tribute envoys throughout the years. Therefore, their courtesy names and titles are listed together to provide material for scholarly examination.

The Sai clan originally came from Jinjiang County, Quanzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province. 《Marginal note: According to the Veritable Records of the Ming Dynasty, in the fifth year of Chenghua, Chief Clerk Sai Kei presented tribute. He himself said that his ancestor was from Nan'an County.》 They are descendants of Sho, the Duanming Scholar of the Song Dynasty. Twelve generations, totaling eighty-one people.
