protrudes distinctively. The taste is bitter
and not delicious.

The same book states it grows in tree
shade during autumn. The form resembles sensho
and is viscous and slippery, with a tea-brown colored
surface and fine gills on the underside. The gills and
stem are pure white and glossy. The taste
is light, delicious, and good.
