一本から四、五本の茎が群がり集まっ
て生える。単独で生える
ものもある。傘は張って二、
三寸、あるいは一尺
ほど。茶褐色で、裏面と茎はすべて白色の
毛がある。質は強靭で
味は酸っぱいという。

newly grown name-suzuki in form and
color but is somewhat thicker, and the taste
is slightly inferior.
Shōko-take

The same book states it grows under
tall trees after autumn rains.
From one base, four to five stems grow
in clusters.
Some also grow individually. The cap spreads to two or
three sun, or about one shaku
in size. Tea-brown in color, with the underside and stem all having white
hair. The texture is tough and
the taste is sour.
