茎（くき）白色にして滑（なめらか）
即（すなはち）狐（きつね）の絵筆（ゑふて）の

現代語訳
すっぽん茸
『看過』に掲載されている図。
『菌史』によると、初生時は
鶏卵の形の如くで、
剖折すると茎を
出し、頭部は黒い亀甲文様、
茎は白色で滑らか。
すなわち狐の絵筆の
異種であるものと
言われている。

Suppon-take (Turtle mushroom)

According to the "Kinshi," when first emerging,
it is shaped like a chicken egg,
and when split open, it produces
a stem, with the head having black tortoise-shell patterns
and the stem being white and smooth.
It is said to be
a different variety of
the fox's paintbrush mushroom.
