菌（こ）に似（に）て稍（やゝ）小く
色（いろ）灰白／好（このん）て竹（ちく）
林中（りんちう）枯葉（かれは）《振り仮名：成＿レ堆｜たいとなす》
の処（ところ）に生すこれを
食（くらへば）其毒（そのどく）人をして
笑（わら）はしむ亦（また）笑菌（わらいたけ）
の族類（そくるい）なる者（もの）と
いへり

すくも茸
『看過』に掲載されている図。
『菌史』によると、形は笹茸に
似ているがやや小さく、
色は灰白色。好んで竹林中の
枯葉が堆積した
場所に生える。これを
食べるとその毒により人を
笑わせる。また笑い茸の
仲間であるものと
言われている。

According to the "Kinshi," its shape
resembles the sasa-take but is somewhat smaller,
and its color is grayish-white. It prefers to grow
in places where dead leaves have accumulated
in bamboo groves. When
consumed, its poison causes people
to laugh. It is also said to be
a member of the laughing mushroom
family.
