　以上の者たちである。また、武藤九太夫の乗り口（持ち場・突入口）において傷を負い、引き下がることもできずにいた敵がいた。その頭は髪がなく、金の元結で束ね、薄絹の袷に着込（鎖帷子）の羽織を着て、床几の前に倒れ伏していた。武藤の家来・龍田六右衛門がその手負いの者の着込を剥ぎ取ったところ、腰のあたりを見れば魔除け（魔）を差していた。

These are the individuals noted. Furthermore, at the breach point of Mutō Kudayū's [assault], there was a wounded enemy who could neither advance nor retreat. This person had a shaved head, with [the remaining hair] bound with a golden cord (motoyu​i), and was wearing a thin silk lined robe (awase) over a kusazuri-style armored coat (kiko​mi), lying prostrate before a folding camp stool (shōgi). Mutō's retainer, Tatsuta Rokuemon, stripped the armored coat from this wounded man, and upon examining his waist, found that he was wearing a [charm or amulet associated with] evil spirits (ma).
