一 同十八（丑）年四月、頭・小原五郎右衛門が萱野権兵衛の御役御免に伴い跡へ組替えを仰せ付けられたため、田中加兵衛組に罷り成った。

One entry: In the 1st month of the 13th year of the same era (Year of the Monkey), as his parent had requested, he was appointed as guard duty substitute (*goban-dai*) and performed castle guard duty (*oshiro goban*) in the unit of Obara Gorōemon.
One entry: In the 4th month of the 18th year of the same era (Year of the Ox), as his unit commander (*kashira*) Obara Gorōemon was reassigned to fill the vacancy left by Kayano Gonbei's dismissal from his post, he was transferred to the unit of Tanaka Kahei.
