One: In the ninth month of An'ei 1 (Year of the Dragon), his son Chōemon was permitted, as requested, to travel up to Edo.
One: In the ninth month of the same third year (Year of the Horse), he was provisionally appointed on a temporary basis to the position of attendant to the ladies-in-waiting (*jochū-tsuki*).
One: In the eleventh month of the same year, he was ordered to serve as *koban* (small guard) on permanent assignment in Edo (*Edo jōtsume koban*).
One: In the eleventh month of the same fifth year (Year of the Monkey), he was appointed to the role of official attendant (*goyōyaku*) to Lady Renjuin, and his seat rank was placed
